Resumen curricular
Investigador del Departamento de Física de Plasmas y de Interacción de Radiación con Materia desde 2008.
Obtuvo la licenciatura en Ingeniería Física por la Universidad Iberoamericana (México), la maestría y doctorado en Astronomía por la Universidad de Wisconsin-Madison (2005).
Ha publicado más de 70 artículos en revistas arbitradas en el área de Astronomía. Es docente y ha graduado a estudiantes del Posgrado en Astrofísica, UNAM. Es árbitro en la Astrophysical Journal y miembro del Comité Académico para el Desarrollo, uso y aprovechamiento del supercómputo en el Instituto de Astronomía, UNAM.
Entre sus líneas de investigación se encuentran la Formación estelar, Hidrodinámica Teórica y Numérica asociada a procesos del Medio Interestelar, Hidrodinámica y Magnetohidrodinámica Numérica.
